Martin Hammer has a long lasting experience in the fields of restructuring advisory and reorganization management. For about 20 years he led German and American “Blue Chip” companies as well as renown medium-sized companies as an executive, both in-Europe and Overseas. Since 2002 he has been acting as an interim and restructuring manager as well as a trustee in restructuring projects. Mr. Hammer has an in-depth knowledge of the special requirements of restructuring projects, strenghtened by a personal track-record of over 100 restructuring projects. Besides his experience in general management positions he has specific competences in the fields of M&A advisory, post merger integration, business re-engineering as well as the execution of restructuring processes. Ever since the Formation of K & H Business Partner, together with Uwe Köstens in 2002, he has been serving as its managing partner.

After completing his studies of business management at Philipps-Universität in Marburg, Germany and, after many years working for various well-known German banks, Mr. Köstens has been a managing partner of Business Partner as the company's co-founder since 2002. In addition to reorganization consulting, Mr. Köstens himself has overseen the operational implementation of reorganization measures as interim manager. He has been responsible for more than 100 successful Projects while in this role. His other main focus lies in the areas of corporate financing with equity and debt capital, the optimization of financial structures and credit management.


Philippe Piscol

Philippe Piscol started his career at a German regional bank. Thereafter he managed a medium-sized group of companies in the automotive supply- and defence industry for five years. In 2000 he switched to restructuring advisory and in 2003 became managing partner of a well known German consulting firm. Besides his extensive experience in restructuring advisory, he has specific competences in the fields of marketing and sales, accounting and controlling, as well as in M&A- and corporate finance advisory. Philippe Piscol joined the Business Partner team in 2009 as a managing partner and head of the office in Stuttgart. He has assumed the responsibility for over 50 successful Projects.
